Social Work Assistant needed with Worcestershire County Council

Start Date- ASAP

Location - Bromsgrove

Duration - Initially 3 months

Hours per week - 37 hours per week

Salary - £15 ltd an hour

Description:

• As a Social Work Assistant you will carry out and review assessments and support plans for adults and their carers to build a good life within their community


• The Social Work Assistant will ensure that the well-being and safety of the adult is paramount, this is through analysing all necessary information to complete assessments that comply with statutory requirements


• You will undertake day duty tasks as required


• As a Social Work Assistant you will be required to collect and maintain accurate records and update appropriate systems which are both confidential and in-keeping with relevant legislation

What is required?

• Demonstrable experience of work with adults, especially older adults and adults with physical disabilities


• Level 6 or 7 qualification


• Previous experience within a similar role


• Ability to travel throughout the county
