ODP/Anaesthetic Nurse

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated ODP/Anaesthetic Nurse to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Reading, Berkshire area.

As the ODP/Anaesthetic Nurse your key duties include:



  • Prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery in relation to instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures, ensuring waste is kept to a minimum

  • You will run a theatre list without supervision and supervise/mentor junior staff and perform anaesthetic duties

  • You will have the opportunity to develop your skills as the unit performs various surgical procedures ranging from General Surgery, Orthopaedic, ENT, Plastics and Ophthalmic



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • Current Theatre experience

  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character

  • A commitment to support individuals and assist as necessary with activities of daily living including personal care/therapy, social, emotional, and recreational needs and

  • The ability to make decisions and use your initiative

  • Strong communication skill

  • Passion to deliver excellent care in a rewarding and what can be emotionally challenging environment



The successful ODP/Anaesthetic Nurse will receive an excellent salary up to £38,000 per annum DOE.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
