A client within the Private Sector based in Merseyside is currently recruiting for a Development Manager to join their team as soon as possible.

The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a housing environment.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to manage the Development Team and assisting to successfully deliver the Development programmes.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• work closely with the Interim Development Director to secure an ongoing development programme including grant and non-grant funded schemes, including the identification, assessment of demand, risk management and viability of the models.
  
  


• take a lead on key disposal projects on behalf of group member organisations


• develop and implement performance and service standards for the Development Team, including sound project management practices and service level agreements between Group Members which are sustainable and deliver service excellence.
  
  


• develop and adopt sound risk management practices for all projects.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require to be educated to degree level or have a relevant professional qualification.

The below skills would be essential for the role:

• Substantial experience of developing Capital regeneration projects


• Experience of leading multi-disciplinary bid teams


• Experience of working at a senior level

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between £30 - £35 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
