Charge Nurse
An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Charge Nurse to work in an exceptional hospital within the Gainsborough, Lincolnshire area.
You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital is a low secure unit for men with mental illnesses and personality disorders.
They provide a full treatment pathway for those requiring rehabilitation and they focus on patients learning new skills, embedding these in everyday life, and maintaining the skills that are necessary for community living

As a Charge Nurse your key responsibilities include:
- Providing clear leadership for the Nursing Team on a daily basis
- Participate in the overall management of resources on site on a daily basis by the review of the hospital rota to ensure effective and appropriate deployment of staff
- Support the Ward Manager in resource management for the unit
- Work collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team
- Contribute to pre-admission assessment of referred patients
- Support the Ward Manager in maintaining health, safety, and security within legislative requirements and in adherence to policy and local protocols
- Attend to Named Nurse responsibilities
- Supporting the nursing team and contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
- To maintain high standards of care and treatment at all times working within the pivotal role between the unit, the MDT, external professionals the families and carers of the young people in the service

- Happy to work as part of an established hospital, with a collaborative and supportive MDT, that provides a clear pathway for the patients in our care
- Focused on patient centred care
- Have a commitment to developing and delivering high quality care
- Possess, or be ready to develop effective decision making skills
The successful Charge Nurse will be offered an excellent salary of £39,283.31 per annum.
This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
