Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Senior Contracts Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis.

ROLE: Senior Contracts Lawyer
LOCATION: London (hybrid)
CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing, 35 hours per week
RATE: £50 to 60ph umbrella

The Role

• To manage a full caseload and provide high quality legal and procurement advice on contract and commercial matters for all areas of the Council


• Matters will include complex construction, regeneration and ICT matters


• To assist and supervise more junior members of staff with technical legislation requirements

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 5 years' PQE


• It is essential that the suitable candidate has managed a full caseload of complex Contracts & Procurement


• Previous local authority or central government experience would be essential for this position
