Merton council are currently recruiting for an Adult Social worker to work in a Long Term Support team and Sensory Services


The key points are:
-experience in working/assessing with Older People and Adults with Physical Disabilities in a community setting.
-Knowledge of Direct Payments care package and relevant issues/challenges
-competent in Safeguarding Adults Enquiries
-Able to carry out Mental Capacity Assessment and adhere to Best Interests principles
-Familiar with Continuing Healthcare processes
-a good understanding on Lasting Power of Attorney and Deputyship
