We have an excellent opportunity for a Carpentry & Joinery Tutor to join a local authority based in Sheffield.



As a Tutor you will be responsible for vocational training in line with contractual, awarding body and ofsted standards.

You will be be responsible for the performance, retention and achievement of leaners whilst providing a quality delivery.

Responsibilities include;

• Deliver teaching, learning and assessments within the curriculum set for Carpentry & Joinery.
  
  Particularly NOCN Cskills Lvl 1.


• Supporting leaners and undertaking initial, formative and summative assessment.


• Reporting on performance of programmes.


• Assist with the marketing and promotion of all programmes.


• Regular reviews with leaners, reviewing progress against objectives and performance plan.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable hours working Monday to Wednesday (7.5 hours per day).

You will need;

• NVQ or City and Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery


• Minimum qualification - PTILLS
