Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Legal 500 law firm in East London who are currently looking for a Housing Solicitor to join their team.

ROLE: Housing Solicitor
LOCATION: East London
SALARY: £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
BENEFITS: Bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave increasing to 28, annual pay reviews, training and courses

The Role

• To manage a full caseload of Housing Law matters through to completion


• Matters will include possession proceedings, disrepair matters, tenancy dispute proceedings, claims for poor housing conditions and homeless applications


• You will be acting on behalf a variety of clients including private individuals


• To assist and supervise more junior members of staff within the growing team

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years' PQE within Housing law


• Experience and knowledge of a full range of housing law


• To have a good knowledge and understanding of the legal aid scheme


• To have the skills to provide supervision to a growing team of junior lawyers
