AA/DN/10996/1

A leading provider of specialist learning disability services is looking for a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join the team at their Doncaster residential village, where adults who have learning disabilities, often alongside ASD and other complex needs, are supported to live independently and stay engaged with the community on their own terms.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a key role in assessing, formulating, and delivering personalised 1:1 interventions that support people experiencing difficulties with speech to develop effective communication skills, achieve a greater quality of life, and exercise a greater degree of choice, all in a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment.

Senior SLTs will also be able take an active role in mentoring junior team members in best practice and bringing about new initiatives to develop the therapy service further.

The service places great emphasis on its cohesive model of care, and you will be able to work closely alongside experienced psychologists, occupational therapists, behaviour therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide the right support at the right time for each person in your care.

This is a permanent, full-time Speech and Language Therapist position, working Mon-Fri (37.5h/week, no weekends or late finishes required).
