Job Description

Service Care Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in London for a Credit Controller on a temporary basis.

The postholder will ensure the sundry debts are collected on time and to contribute to achieving maximum income collection and ensure that sales ledgers are maintained to a high standard of accuracy.

The postholder will maintain customer relationships, ensure invoice payments, and ensure high value debts are continually reviewed.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of two years credit control experience preferably within Local Authority


• Thorough knowledge of computerised debt collection systems and experience of taking payments over the phone


• Good understanding of income collection and allocation processes work


• Ability to plan, priorities and organise workloads in order to meet corporate objectives and customer needs
