HR Officer

A Summary of the role:

Due to expansion, our client is looking for a Super Star HR Officer who is a great all-rounder! Supporting all areas of the company with everything HR related!

 Responsibilities will include the full employee cycle –

• Recruitment, selection and onboarding

• Managing and evolving HR policies and procedures

• Managing employee relations and providing guidance and leadership to the management team

• Support the creation of training and development plans - including the provision of leadership and employee training programmes

• Working with the senior team to create an effective and suitable structure for growth

• Designing and embedding organisational culture and values fit for our business and our future goals and aspirations

• Contribute to and implement HR initiatives to improve the employee experience, e.g.

wellbeing packages and benefits

• HRIT & measurement – Managing new and existing HRIT systems automating the employee journey and the development of people KPI’s

The successful candidate will have –

• CIPD Level 5 or working towards it

• At least 3 years experience in a generalist HR role within a SME environment

• A flexible, positive and collaborative approach to commercial HR

• Confidence to offer pragmatic and ethical HR support to an evolving organisation and leadership team

• Experience of creating HR policies & procedures and seeking out opportunities for improvement in people practices

• Ability to deal with employee matters with discretion and care

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment

• Organisational & administrative skills to support the daily operation of this function
