Our client strives to offer the best care in their 60 plus establishments and improve their client's quality of life and they are looking for a Finance Manager to join their management team.

This is a unique opportunity as the current Finance Manager is retiring and there will be a 6 month hand-over period.

You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices, in addition:

• Head statutory Audit process
• Month end – preparation of Financial statements (Trial balance and P&L focus)
• Assisting management accountant in preparation, analysis of monthly management information
• Pro-actively participate in planning sessions, forecasts and annual Budget exercise.
• You can expect plenty of interaction with colleagues across the business and peers at other sites / regions of the group
• Manage payroll for 320 staff

Skills:

• Fully qualified Accountant with either AAT/ACCA
• 3-4 years relevant experience.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and good experience in financial modelling
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, previous experience in a manufacturing sector advantageous
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A good cross functional communicator & multi-tasked
• Strong presentation skills
