Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a Government body which is in need of Public Lawyers to join their legal team.

There are roles in all of the different disciplines that the Government body deals with so any qualified candidate with experience is welcome to apply.

ROLE: Public Lawyer

LOCATION: Wales (fully remote)

CONTRACT LENGTH: 2 years, full-time and part-time applicants will be considered

SALARY: £53,000 per annum (applied pro rate for part time hours)

The Role:

• Handle your own caseload from start to completion in your designated area of law


• Contribute to the effective delivery of legal services within the team's portfolio


• To provide support and cover for colleagues within the office as directed by the Team Leader or a Deputy Director of Legal Services

The Person:

• A qualified Solicitor, Lawyer or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years' PQE


• Experience in one or more of the following areas of law:

-Planning

-Contracts and Procurement

-Mental health

-Education

-Employment

-Childcare

-Adult Care

-Environmental Law

-Human Rights

-Land and Property

-Regulatory

-Data Protection

• Ideally someone who has worked within the Public Sector but this in not essential
