Care Home Manager

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Home Manager to manage an exceptional care home based in the Sheffield, South Yorkshire area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers



This care home has staffs that are highly experienced and trained to deliver exceptional care and support, who are discreetly there 24 hours a day



As the Care Home Manager your key responsibilities include:



  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, ensuring all staff are supported and always promoting independence and well-being by ensuring that residents' personal, psychological, and social care needs are met.

    You will be the focal point of all family, resident and professionals contact in the home

  • Provide inspirational leadership and daily management

  • Undertake regular staff recruitment, embedding an open culture to empower your staff to be the best team possible, always looking to demonstrate our values of being Proud, Supportive and Caring



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • Essential that you have 4 years' experience in the care home sector with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a management position

  • Sound knowledge of the Care Standards Act 2000, Key Lines of Enquiry, Safeguarding and the MCA

  • You will have the super-human characteristics of being efficient whilst always putting people first, showing kindness and still have energy to love life and make it meaningful for yourself and those in your care



The successful Care Home Manager will receive an excellent Competitive Salary.

This exciting position is a Full Time role for 40 hours a week working through Day Shifts.
