SHCR Testing Manager

The role is to lead on the testing and assurance of the System's Shared Care Record (SHCR) solution, providing a shared care record
component to support clinicians and professionals in their role of Direct Care provision; a population heath management component and a patient portal solution to enable citizens to take a more proactive role to manage their own health and care, across the
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care System (ICS).

This project is complex but a rewarding challenge, working across all Partners across the ICS, which requires a combination of knowledge and experience of a Test Manager coupled with proven expertise in testing and quality assurance in a partnership environment.

Main Duties
Undertaking day to day management of the Test and Assurance team allocating work packages to Test Analysts

Taking responsibility for the professional development of Test Analysts ensuring that members of the testing team, including themselves, are adequately trained in relevant testing methods and tools

Lead testing activities for allocated work packages.

Plan, schedule, co-ordinate, monitor and adjust the resources (human and physical), activities and priorities in order to deliver work packages to agreed objectives, standards and deadlines.

Taking responsibility for the development and maintenance of recording and managing defects and issues arising from testing

Performing complex analysis on information relating to software testing and produce reports on this information for development, project and senior management staff

Performing test preparation and execution as required.

Developing and maintaining effective written and verbal communication with individuals and larger groups of customers and stakeholders of all levels on highly complex technical, business and clinical matters relating to testing.

Provide test input and expert advice to programme and partner boards, including project and the change advisory board as appropriate.

Liaise with end user representatives to discuss business impact of issues found.

Establish relationships with suppliers, Shared Care Record Service Management, project managers, clinical safety officer and senior clinical and administrative managers, facilitating resolution of conflicts in the testing area.

Management of testing and assurance documentation with other assurance stakeholders including suppliers, Shared Care Record Service Management, project managers, clinical safety officers and senior clinical and administrative managers.

Initiate communications between stakeholders, acting as a single technical point of contact for assurance stakeholders

Facilitate open communication and discussion between stakeholders.

Work closely with project managers to schedule testing in line with project plans

Capture and disseminate technical and business information.

Facilitating the business change decision making processes, and the planning and implementation of change
