Support Worker needed with Plymouth City Council

Start Date- ASAP

Location - Plymouth

Duration - initially 3 months

Hours per week - various shifts/days available

Salary - £13 ltd an hour

Shifts available:

• 30pm - 8pm


• 4pm - 10pm


• 7am - 9.30am


• 3pm - 8pm


• 8am - 3pm


• 3pm - 10pm


• 4pm - 7pm

Description:

• To provide support and a range of activities to adult service users with learning disabilities and complex needs


• To work as part of a team, or on a one-to-one basis, under direction, both within a day service or community setting, in line with individual support plans and assessed needs


• You will be working closely with and supporting vulnerable adults

What is required?

• Basic numeracy and literacy required to complete work records


• Experience of working with people with learning disabilities and complex needs


• Knowledge and experience of the need for dignity, respect and sensitivity when supporting the service user group


• Undertake personal care tasks


• Experience and understanding of people with a learning disability
