Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Qualified Children in care social worker in Northampton, to work in a Children in care Social Services Department.

This position will be based in a busy CIC Team (Children in care).

This is a great opportunity within a busy and dynamic team we are looking for someone to deliver high quality services to children in care.

For this position, you must have -

• A degree or masters in Social Work (or any other recognised equivalent qualification)


• HCPC registration

It is desirable that you have 1+ years post qualifying experience within Children in care Services.

Previous experience within a CIC Team or with Children in care is a distinct advantage for the role.

The successful candidate will have the following skills.

• To deliver a high quality service to children in our care within our role of corporate parent and aimed ensuring best outcomes for children and young people.


• To monitor placements in order to ensure that the care given is of a high standard and meets children's needs.


• To promote the welfare of children in care with particular regard for their age, sex, health, race, religion, culture and life experience and where appropriate.
  
  


• To take responsibility for managing an individual caseload, having regard to the relative needs of all service users and ensuring an effective use of time and resources.

Up to £150 per week for candidates living over 60 miles away from the office (need proof of address in order to receive) (PRO RATA for part-time workers)

£30 per day for days outside of the duty week that the candidate works from the office if over 60 miles away

For those based out of One Angel Square, subsidised parking is available for a fee of £20 per month.

For those based at other locations free onsite parking is available.
