Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for 4 temporary Band 2 Make Ready Drivers/ Cleaners to work within the East of England Ambulance Trust on a 3 month temporary agency contact.

2 of these roles will be based within the Bury St Edmunds Ambulance Station & 2 will be based at the Ipswich Ambulance Station.

Hours
37.5 hours per week (typically 1.5hrs each shift) - 6am start
As the post holder you will be expected to work nights, weekends and public holidays

Rates
£10.19 PAYE paid weekly via an umbrella company.

Main Duties

• To deliver and collect Ambulances between Trust sites and/or external sites/agents


• Confirm with Make Ready Staff that the vehicles they are due to move have the correct levels of stock and equipment


• To undertake Vehicle Checks on each vehicle driven


• Report any defects


• Undertake extended road tests of vehicles


• Other responsibilities will require you to move ambulances around the site for refuelling, cleaning, parking, vehicle testing and maintenance

Qualifications necessary to performance of the role:

• UK driving license with a C1 category is mandatory


• IPC Cleaning Standards
