A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Pharmacist - Surgical & Theatres to work in a reputable, exceptional private hospital based in the South Kensington, London area.

As a Pharmacist your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a high quality clinical pharmacy service as part of the multidisciplinary team to surgical wards and theatres, to ensure maximum efficacy, safety and economic drug use and to demonstrate professional accountability to enhance patient care

  • To act as a specialist pharmacist and provide patient focused clinical pathways for the surgical division and theatres including theatre service review.

  • Lead on developments of new services within theatres and surgery and contribute actively to service improvements areas in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team

  • Deputise for Senior Pharmacy Managers and provide leadership for the team and at relevant specialty meetings where appropriate

  • Plan and participate in the education and training of clinical pharmacists and act as a resource for surgical pharmacy issues

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Broad Clinical Pharmacy background including ward based work

  • Critical care experience

  • Advance level practice in another clinical speciality

  • CPD portfolio

The successful Pharmacist will receive an excellent salary of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working through Days.
