Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a government department who are seeking a Lawyer to join their team, with a variety of areas available.

ROLE: Public Law Lawyer
LOCATION: London, Bristol or Leeds - hybrid working
RATE: £34.72 to £35.80 per hour
CONTRACT: Initial 6 months, potential to be ongoing

Please note that this role would be hybrid working (2 days per week)

The Role

To provide legal advice and advisory work in one of the following areas:

• Pensions


• Data Protection


• International e.g.
  
  foreign security


• Health & Benefits


• Universal credits & Housing

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 1 year PQE


• Previous public sector experience would be highly desirable for this position


• Candidates will need excellent analytical and communication skills, and be good at working collaboratively to find legal solutions to policy problems
