Customer Care Administrator

Job Title: Customer Care Administrator
Work Pattern: 25 hours per week
Type: Fixed Term 6 Months
Location: Middlesbrough TS2
Salary: £16,701 per annum (FTE £24,718)

Purpose of the role -
Our client is looking for a customer care administrator to provide a comprehensive clerical and administration support service for the Customer Care Team, responding to all customer service requirements
Job Role -



  • Support the delivery of an excellent customer care service to ensure that customer issues in completed properties are resolved, in particular relating to the rectification of defects and the continuation of the customer journey.

  • Communicate directly with customers to resolve issues, working with construction and sales team where necessary.

  • Handle and assign incoming defects from customers on Clixifix or other internal systems as required

  • Update, maintain and close out defects on internal systems in conjunction with Out of Hours service provider

  • Contact customers to arrange appointments or to pass on sub-contractor information, using diary to schedule calls and re-calls and confirm appointments as necessary in writing, email or telephone call Assist in the preparation and collation of reports and data to monitor the effectiveness of the customer care service

  • Undertake and administrate all filing requirements across the Customer Care areas of the Directorate including electronic, paper and historic documentation ensuring that well organised systems and information retrieval is maintained

  • Co-ordinate works outside of sub-contractor's remit with internal resource


Candidate Requirements -



  • Effective use of IT and media as appropriate

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships with managers and employees at all levels, along with other stakeholders external to the business including customers

  • Ability to assist in the development of a customer driven service and ensure continuous improvement

  • Proven ability to analyse and solve problems
