I'm currently recruiting for a Head of Accounts for a legal firm in Blackburn with Darwen.

Job Description

Job Title: Head Of Accounts
Location: Blackburn With Darwen
Salary: : £30K+ (Dependent Upon Experience)
Contract Type: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 37 Hours
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday

Purpose

• Responsible for the accounts function of the firm, including legal cashier and bookkeeper of Company accounts


• Proactively manage the accounts function with the support of the accounts assistant and Directors.


• Liaise with colleagues to support our clients and suppliers as necessary and act as an effective ambassador for the firm.


• Ensure the successful development of the firm in line with the strategy identified in the business plan.

Ideal Candidate

• Will have experience of working in a law firm or experience in a similar financial/accounting role


• Must be AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified


• A high degree of knowledge and experience of financial/accounting skills including monitoring cash flow, reconciliation and credit management
