Job Title: Senior Pensions Officer
Location: Nottinghamshire, NG2 (Fully Remote)
Rate: : £16 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Type: Temporary.

Contract Term: 4 Months (Ongoing)
Weekly Hours: 37 Hours
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday

We are recruiting on behalf of a local authority in Nottinghamshire (Fully Remote) for a Senior Pensions Officer.

The role will be to support the Pensions team leader and Pensions consultant in dealing with all aspects of the pension schemes.

This will include offering technical support and resolutions for auto enrolment and year end activities for local government, teachers, and NHS pension schemes.

Purpose

• Deal with LGPS, Teachers and NHS Pension schemes ensuring compliance with audit and data protection requirements


• Assist all team members with employee pay and service history, determining relevant pay figures and pension details for year end activities, retirements and redundancies


• Resolve complex, technical pension information and data handling for year end work to ensure these are delivered both on time and within relevant budget


• Provide input, co-ordination, and support to the ongoing development of technical projects including making recommendations for future improvements


• Respond to queries relating to all aspects of the pension scheme with a wide range of different shareholders

Ideal Candidate

• Will have experience within a local authority in a pension related position


• Can demonstrate detailed understanding of pensions scheme regulations including LGPS, Teachers and NHS Pensions


• Possesses the ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative and develop methods of working and error resolving for others
