Job Description
Job Title: Client Manager
Location: Cheshire, SK4
Salary: : £52,000
Contract Type: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 37 Hours (Flexi Hours)
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday (Hybrid working, Maximum 2 days per week in office)

Our client, who is an established accountancy firm in Cheshire and a sister company to a Top 20 firm of accountants and business advisors, are looking for a Client Manager to join their current outstanding team.

Purpose



  • Plan audit assignments, conduct onsite and remote audit fieldwork in accordance with the agreed plan and complete all aspects of the electronic audit file

  • Supervise and oversee audit team of up to three team members

  • Review statutory accounts prepared by trainee team members, including all required disclosures

  • Where required, produce draft tax computations and a provision for inclusion in the accounts

  • Responsible for managing, reviewing, supporting and motivating more junior members of the team


Ideal Candidate



  • Will be ACCA/ACA qualified with experience of working within a similar role (including managing audits from start to finish)

  • Has ability and drive to motivate the team to achieve results and coach junior members of the team to ensure a standard of work which meets expectations

  • Takes ownership for managing your own development, seeking extra responsibility, and always striving to go the extra mile

  • Has a proven track record of building lost lasting relationships of trust and keeping systems and procedures up to date

  • Can reflect on difficult situations in order to resolve problems quickly and with a high level of confidence in your decisions with reasonable justification
