A Housing Association based in South East London is currently recruiting for a Responsive Repairs Manager to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a Social Housing environment with specific experience in repairs and maintenance.

The purpose of the role is to manage the day to day operations, delivering a diverse and complex range of responsive repairs and associated work streams.

The main responsibilities of the role:

• To assist in managing the delivery, cost control of all voids meeting target times keep strong financial controls on budgets.


• To provide strong and effective leadership to the team, ensure staff are effective in their roles, supported and motivated.


• To develop the service and individuals to achieve a highly organised operational delivery.


• To work collaboratively with colleagues, delivering on customer, operational and financial targets in line with the business plan.


• To manage sub-contractors supporting the delivery of works, ensuring high levels of quality, satisfaction and contract administration, consistency, fairness and value for money.
  
  


• Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing budgets; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £30 - £35 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
