We are currently recruiting for a Referral Officer to join the Early Help and Safeguarding Hub in Hull.

This position is:

* Initial 3 months, with the possibility of extension

* Full time hours

* £11.96 per hour

The post holders will assist Social Workers in investigating and exploring children safeguarding referrals history to enable Social Workers to make an informed decision on whether to progress to a contact or no further action should be taken.

Individuals should be able to use their own initiative, good IT skills, excellent communication skills and be inquisitive to gather the appropriate information required.

Importantly, the role will support a systemic approach, including:

• A strengths and relationship based approach


• Different perspectives and collaboration


• Family and goal orientated plans which are SMART


• The value of systemic tools such as genograms
