Service Care Legal Recruitment are currently working alongside Local Authority, based in Greater Manchester, which is in need of an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team.

ROLE: Adult Social Care Lawyer

RATE: £40-£55ph

LOCATION: Greater Manchester

CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 months ongoing

The Role:

• Deal with an Adult Social Care legal files from start to completion


• The caseload will consist of matters dealing with the Care Act 2014; Court of Protection; Deprivation of Liberty; Judicial Review; Ordinary residence; Mental Health, Care Changes and Adult Social Care Debt Recovery


• You will work closely with the Council's Children, Families and Well-being service and other services

The Person:

• Someone who has 3+ years' PQE in Adult Social Care Law and has dealt with matters dealing with the Care Act 2014; Court of Protection; Deprivation of Liberty; Judicial Review; Ordinary residence; Mental Health, Care Changes and Adult Social Care Debt Recovery

• Someone who has an understanding of the structural framework of Local Authority Law and has ideally worked at a Local Authority before


• Someone who is able to deal with their own caseload independently whilst also assisting others with theirs
