Service Care Construction are currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority who require a Cleaner in Chester on a temporary basis.

Previous experience within a cleaning role is essential for this position.

This is a full time position working an early shift comprising of 37 hours, day shift comprising of 37 hours and a late shift comprising of 37 hours per week.

The role involves cleaning within public areas of Chester Market and perimeters.

Principle responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the cleanliness of the market premises, surroundings and facilities.


• Ensure the refuse is disposed of regularly and all receptacles are cleaned accordingly.


• Assist in the cleaning of communal areas in the market which include but are not limited to the public, trader, staff toilets, lifts, kitchens and offices.


• Carry out minor repairs to the building or equipment.


• Assist in the security of the market to include the locking and unlocking.


• Attend to any emergency call out if and when required.


• Assist with the day to day preparations with traders i.e.
  
  erecting, moving and dismantling of stalls.


• Any other miscellaneous duties as and when required.
