Service Care Legal are currently recruiting for a local authority, based in the West Midlands, which is in need of a Housing Lawyer to join them on a contract basis.

ROLE: Housing Lawyer
LOCATION: West Midlands, largely remote
RATE: £40-£45ph Umbrella
CONTRACT: Full time, 37 hours per week, 3 months rolling contract

The Role

• To manage and progress caseloads related to Housing Disrepair law


• Assist other members of the Housing Disrepair team as and when required


• To provide legislative advice to other members of staff within the Litigation department

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Lawyer, Legal Executive or Barrister with at least 2 years of PQE


• Previous experience in handling caseloads related to Housing Litigation is essential


• Previous work within a local authority would be highly beneficial
