Job title: Learning Specialist
Location: Seaham, SR7
Contract: 12 month FTC
Hours: Full time
Salary: £36,650
Our Client is looking for Learning Specialist to join their team on a fixed term basis to act as an internal expert, providing specialist knowledge to the business on all learning matters.

Work with the Senior Culture and Learning Partner and Culture Manager to create and deliver an industry leading approach to onboarding that supports delivery of the company Vision.


Duties would include:
, Curate, design and deliver of a range of L&D programmes that develop our people for the future.


, Provide professional coaching and psychometric support to individuals and as part of wider initiatives as required.


, Support the Senior Culture and Learning Partner and Culture Manager to plan learning activities that meet both current and future organisational needs.


, Source quality external provision that meets business needs and promotes value for money, and ensure contracts are delivered effectively.


, Design and deliver of a range of opportunities that develop future talent.


, Establish effective networks and partnerships with other organisations to enable the business to continuously improve and learn from best practice and current trends.


, Develop and foster effective relationships with internal stakeholders, positively providing challenge and managing expectations as required.


, Create and maintain appropriate records and statistics, providing regular reports to the business as required.


, Provide coaching and support to managers around all L&D activities.


, Support key strategic culture and learning projects as required.



The Ideal candidate will have:



  • Significant experience as an L&D professional.

  • Highly experienced designing, delivering, and managing a range of blended learning and talent development programmes at all levels.

  • Using learning management systems and associated reporting.

  • Good understanding of the apprenticeship levy, its application and how to maximise it.

  • Developing apprenticeship attraction, selection, and development programmes.

  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders and networks.

  • Assessing learning needs and developing learning plans.

  • Driving a learning culture.

  • Working at pace to deliver on multiple demands.
