Customer Service Adviser


We Have an exciting opportunity for a customer Advisor in the Preston area.

The main duties for this role will be:



  • Take ownership and deal effectively with customer queries and requests for information, seeing them through to completion.

  • Manage customer expectations and provide excellent levels of customer service.

  • Process promptly and accurately, inbound sales enquiries, orders and credit notes.

  • Agree prices within set parameters using the pricing structure for all new enquiries.

  • Process promptly and accurately outgoing quotations.

  • Promote products in cross-sell and up-sell opportunities appropriately.

  • Convert and close orders following enquiries at every opportunity.

  • Liaise with BDMs on any key account enquires

  • Take ownership for a selection of non-key accounts and look for areas to increase turnover

  • Assist customers to resolve debtor issues.

  • Support and participate with sales promotions, including outbound calls if required.

  • Participate in regular staff meetings giving accurate information as required

  • Manage customer complaints effectively through the CRM ensuring that the customer is satisfied with the final outcome.




The Person:


Knowledge & Experience



  • Excellent knowledge of products or a passion to learn

  • Track record of great customer service

  • Good understanding of margin calculation and its impact on the business.

  • Competent in Microsoft office and experience with IT systems

  • Good understanding of CRM systems

This is a full time role working Monday - 08:00am - 16:30pm
