Compliance Co-Ordinator

We have an excellent opportunity for a Compliance Co-Ordinator to work with a leading supplier of Flooring, Roofing and Waterproofing solutions.

This company is recognised Nationwide by the Construction industry and well established as a supplier of innovative and ecological systems.

We are now hiring for an experienced Compliance Co-Ordinator to monitor health and safety across the companies sites in Sandbach and Wigan.

You will be an integral member of the team, managing compliances, monitoring health and safety and relevant documentation and ensuring communication of regulations and governance.

You will be responsible for;

  • Regulatory control of substances, raw materials and formulations on SAP

  • Management and control of COSHH, MSDS and product labelling

  • Adhering to waste packaging regulations

  • Maintaining procedures for creating MSDS, COSHH Assessments and Waste Packaging

  • Annual report for COSHH (record amount used for each ingredients / COSHH Assessment and review)

  • CE Marking Declarations and administration

  • Adhering to Solvent Emission Declaration and reporting

  • VOC calculations and maintenance

  • ADR DG notes and queries (internal and external)

  • Health and Safety enquiries (internal and external)

  • Staff induction talks, relevant to Environmental, Health & Safety

  • Preparation of presentations for regulatory compliance e.g.

    GHS and REACH

  • Annual COMAH report (Control of Major Accidental Hazards)

  • Valpak audit (every 3 years)

  • Provision of full disclosure products reports for relevant authorities e.g.

    Customs & Excise

  • Label design for toll manufactured products, including export/ country specific requirements

  • Identifying requirements and maintaining data for country specific VOC regulation e.g.


  • Technical Literature maintenance and administration

  • Keeping an audit trail of internal and external test data used on technical literature

  • Keeping an audit trail of changes made to Technical Literature e.g.

    formatting, wording and test data

  • Global data advice for other entities

  • Maintaining an up to date list of company product components with relevant hazard classifications

  • Supplying a Technical data disk of updated literature to UK sales staff every 6 months

  • Management of UK Regulatory and production support staff

  • Control and auditing compliance across company entities

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent contract with various avenues for progression.

You will need experience in a compliance role preferably within a similar industry dealing with hazardous materials and chemicals.

Working hours are 35 per week (Monday to Friday).

You will have an option of hybrid working with set days working from home.

This role involve occasional visits between the Sandbach and Wigan sites and travel expenses will be accommodated.

You will need to have a degree level qualification in a relevant field such as compliance, governance, science, health and safety, etc.
