Office Assistant

Job Title: Office Assistant
Location: Sevenoaks TN13
Contract Type: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 37 Hours per week
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday - 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM (4.45 PM finish on Friday)
Salary: £23,833 + Company Benefits

Our client have a need for an Office Assistant to join their team on a full time basis.

The role is full time office based with a well known Housing Association

Job Purpose:

  • Stock kitchen facilities

  • Assist with management of internal helpdesk

  • Assist with implementation of Health and Safety in the workplace

  • Assist with booking maintenance for the commercial fleet

  • Distribute goods and supplies to offices around Kent (using our van)

  • Communicate with suppliers and contractors

  • Work alongside facilities apprentice with duties such as health & safety inspections and fire safety

  • Franking post

  • Electronic filing and data management

  • Deputising for Senior Facilities Officer - occasionally open the building

Essential criteria:

  • Background working in reception/facilities setting

  • Customer service skills

  • Administration and IT skills

  • Good communication and listening skills

  • Work as part of a team or independently

  • Literacy skills
