Research Executive

Job Title: Research Executive
Work Pattern: 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Type: Permanent
Location Eastleigh SO50 or Yeovil, BA22
Salary: ££28,296 - £32541 per annum plus company benefits

Our client are looking for a Researcher/Research Executive to join their Insight team on a permanent basis.

The Insight team provide performance management, customer insight, business insight and research for the whole organisation.

You'll be based either in their Eastleigh or Yeovil offices and you'll work in an agile manner covering all locations, with the opportunity to balance office days with working from home.

Job Role -

  • You will use quantitative and qualitative research methods and analysis to understand customers, colleagues and our business.

    You will support the embedding of solutions based on the insight you deliver.

  • You'll have experience working within insight, data analytics and/or research.

    You'll have a good grounding in applying quantitative research methodologies; from taking a brief, designing questionnaires, coding open ended questions to analysing data sets.

    You'll have an objective approach and excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • To get you started, this role will be all about existing surveys.

    Understanding how, what, when and why they survey their customers and helping to manage these processes.

    You will use your excellent eye for detail and Excel skills to pull out data, check for accuracy and present it back to teams to act on.

  • Next steps will be plenty of opportunities to work on different quantitative and qualitative research projects, from secondary research to focus groups, and hone your skills across a wide variety of research techniques.

Candidate Requirements -

  • Degree in a research related discipline, relevant professional qualification e.g.

    Market Research Society or equivalent experience in delivering research projects

  • Experience in delivering and managing research projects with demonstrable experience in applying a range of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and using statistical techniques to analyse data

  • Excellent numerical skills and the ability to interrogate information and problem solve with a logical and objective approach

  • Experience of managing good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent research, analytic, communication and report writing skills and ability to gather, analyse and report on information accurately.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload effectively, whilst working under own initiative, to meet strict deadlines and maintain excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to display complex information and data simply to clearly articulate and share knowledge with various audiences, including external stakeholders which will in turn facilitate buy-in and drive positive change within the organisation
