Facilities Assistant

Facilities Assistant - Sevenoaks

Service Care Construction are currently recruiting on behalf of a housing association based in the Sevenoaks area who require a facilities assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Previous experience within a similar role is essential for this position.



This is a full time role working 8:45am - 5:15pm Monday to Friday with a total of 37 hours per week.



The role involves the following duties:

· Assist with maintaining stock records
· Assist with management of internal helpdesk
· Assist with implementation of Health and Safety in the workplace
· Assist with booking maintenance for the commercial fleet and collection/delivery of work vans
· Ordering and distributing goods and supplies and communicate with suppliers and contractors
· Work alongside facilities apprentice with duties such as health & safety inspections and fire safety
· Franking post and electronic filing and data management
· Assist with staff parking inquiries
· Deputising for Senior Facilities Officer - occasionally opening the building

Experience, knowledge and skills required:

· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Ability to work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative
· Good organisational skills
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
· An understanding of health and safety in the work place
