Senior Home Improvements Officer

Our client, a local authority based in Greenwich are looking for a Senior Home Improvements Officer to join their team.

This is on a temporary ongoing contract basis.


The purpose of the role is to:



  • Support a team of Home Improvement Assistants and Home Improvement Officers, including other relevant staff.

  • Deliver the day-to-day running of the Greenwich Handyperson Service, dealing with enquiries and booking appointments.

  • Assisting with the delivery, advice, casework and the administration of all private sector grants and loans [to homeowners, Registered Social Landlords & private sector landlords] including Disabled Facility Grants.


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;



  • Previous experience of Home Improvement works, candidates will need experience of disabled facility grants and adaptations.
