Contract: Temporary Fixed Term - 11 weeks initial

Rate: £15-16ph umbrella

Job Description

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Cheshire for a Senior Payroll Administrator on a temporary basis.

The postholder will provide administrative, technical and supervisory support and will undertake complex checking, evaluation, calculations and information processing to ensure management and control of the payroll runs.

The postholder will advise on policies, respond to payroll enquiries and liaise with other departments when necessary.

Ideal Candidate

  • BTEC Higher or equivalent with ability to study towards CIPP desirable

  • Working knowledge and experience of payroll and pensions preferably in a Local Authority environment

  • Experience of Unit 4 HR and Payroll

  • Working knowledge of HMRC regulations including tax and NI calculations
