Senior Staff Nurse - Pre Assessment

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse - Pre Assessment to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Surrey area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers



This service is one of the leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare.

The hospital also provides private hospital treatments including full diagnostic and endoscopy procedures, orthopaedic surgery including spinal treatment, varicose vein treatment, hernia surgery, vasectomy and cosmetic surgery

As a Nurse you key duties include:



  • You will undertake pre-operative assessment of patients awaiting elective surgery across all specialities

  • Ensure that patients are prepared physically and psychologically for a planned operative procedure

  • Ensuring appropriate information provision and identifying potential discharge concerns



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • Act as a role model for junior staff and student nurses.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently

  • Flexible and committed to maintaining and improving patient experience

  • Demonstrates a good working knowledge & compliance with Ramsay Policies and CQC Standards



The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary up to £43,000 per annum DOE.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
