Web Content Assistant

Service Care Solutions are looking for a Web Content Assistant to join a small Web Content team to support the on-going development and maintenance of a Council's website.


Essential Experience & Knowledge:
, Ability to write, proofread and edit copy for a range of audiences
, Ability to digest and interpret sometimes complex, written information and simplify when needed
, Ability to work independently
, Ability to work to deadlines and manage shifting priorities
, Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
, Attention to detail


Desirable Skills & Attributes:
, Experience of working with Content Management Systems
, Knowledge of Google Analytics
, Knowledge of best Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) practices
, Understanding of the work of Local Government.


Responsibilities:
, Responding to requests for changes to the website from subject matter experts across the Council
, Drafting copy for new and making edits to existing web pages
, Editing and proofreading copy for existing and new web pages
, Working with the Web Content Team and attending meetings when required
