Applications Analyst

Service Care Solutions are looking for an Applications Analyst to work in London.

You will be assisting in the launch of a new Cloud based Enterprise Resource Planning system Hera.

This is a flagship programme under the Governments Shared Services Strategy.

As the programme completes its first release we are looking for a number of contractors to fill critical roles in the Service Team.

The Hera Service Function (HSF) Applications Analyst: People Systems provides knowledge, insight and support for HSF functionality relating to managing our people.

This includes Oracle Fusion “Human Capital Resource (HCR)” functionality plus related systems and data that are managed and supported by HSF.
The Applications Analyst is required to work as part of a diverse team, prioritising and establishing their workload across various activities, whilst also building strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.

Key activities of the role are

Impact Assess Hera Evergreen updates and change proposals.

Working in collaboration with and support the Product Manager.

Carry out testing of Hera Evergreen updates and change proposals.

Working in collaboration with and support the Delivery and Test Managers.

Provide 2nd line support for requests passed from the 1st line support teams.

Working in collaboration with and support the BSF Support Manager and Delivery Manager.

Develop and maintain expertise of the Oracle Fusion HCM product and platform that underpins Hera.

This includes studying and learning from a variety of sources including colleagues, service documentation, Hera on-line guided learning and Oracle online University.

Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of Hera People management (HCM) related on-system business processes and functionality.

Develop and promote a user focus, assessing and testing changes from a user perspective as well as a technical and service risk perspective.

Provide an excellent level of customer service, reflected in user feedback and satisfaction scores.

Engage and participate in continual service improvement, service optimisation, customer satisfaction.

Identify, and raise visibility of risk via the appropriate processes and support risk mitigation as appropriate.

Work collegiately and collaboratively with colleagues (including contractors), stakeholders, partners and related organisations.

Support the organisational objectives, policies and standards.

, Experience supporting an enterprise HR application
, Detailed knowledge of core HR system configuration principles, structures and processes.
, Experience of operating and managing support ticketing processes within a live environment.
, Experience of working with in-house and third-party development and operational services teams.
, Excellent communication and written skills to engage and provide support to business and system stakeholders.

, Knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM applications
, Functional time management skills, with the ability to balance tasks whilst shifting priorities based on varying workloads and pressures.
, Understanding of legislative, financial and reputational risk and experience of putting in working practices to prevent and mitigate errors.
, Recognition of individual and departmental responsibility with regards to information security and confidentiality, exhibiting a duty of care across both.
