We have a new temporary admin post available which could potentially lead to a fixed or permanent position in the future.


It is a full-time role (36.25 hours) and is based at Cape Hill Children's Centre but there will be a requirement to cover at any of the other six children's centres in Sandwell.


The role is to work on reception to meet and greet visitors to the centre, register families with our organisation and share information with them about our services.


The role also is to cover all reception duties e.g.

answering calls, checking and replenishing centre stock, health and safety checks, routine admin duties supporting the wider team, and liaising with other professionals e.g.

health visitors and midwives who run clinics on site.


We are looking for someone who has a lot of experience of reception work as opposed to admin work in general.

We also need someone who can thrive in what is an extremely busy work environment.

We have lots of sessions taking place in the centre alongside one another and this means that we have some very busy periods of the day with people arriving and leaving the centre



Essential Requirements



  • Previous experience working as an Admin

  • Enhanced DBS
