Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority based in Gloucestershire, who are seeking a Childcare Legal Assistants to join them on a contract basis.

ROLE: Childcare Legal Assistant
LOCATION: Gloucestershire
RATE: £10 to £12 per hour
CONTRACT: Start ASAP, initial 3 month contract ongoing

The Role

, To assist a team of Childcare Lawyers in progressing matters through to completion
, Help prepare and update bundles to liaise with clients on a variety of matters
, Drafting documents such as Part 25 Applications, letters before proceedings, briefs to counsel, and letters of instruction to experts

The Person

, Previous experience in dealing with public child care law is essential
, It is ideal for someone to have a law related degree or at least 12 months direct Childcare Paralegal experience
, Someone how is able to cope with distressing matters
, Someone who can hit the ground running on the caseloads
