Service Care legal are currently working alongside a Local Authority, based in Leicestershire, which is in need of Planning Lawyer to join their growing team on a part time basis.

Role: Planning Lawyer
Salary: £45-£50ph Umbrella
Location: North West England (can be done remotely)
Duration: 3 Months ongoing, 21-25 hours per week

The Role:

• Handle your own Planning law caseload from start to completion


• Provide legal advice, research and present legal findings in verbal and written form


• Draft section 106 agreements, attending planning committees and reviewing committee reports

The Person:

• Someone who has experience in Planning law within the public sector, ideally 3 years PQE


• Someone who is organised and self-motivated and is prepared to contribute and improve upon the efficiency of the team


• Someone who can operate self-sufficiently and require minimal supervision
