Service Care legal are currently working alongside a thriving Local Authority, based in Greater Manchester, which is in need of a Lawyer to join their Development and Property legal team and deal with Compulsory Purchase orders.



Role: Lawyer dealing with CPO legal matters
Salary: £45-£55ph Umbrella
Location: Greater Manchester, hybrid
Duration: 6 Months ongoing

The Role:

• Work alongside the CPO Legal officer and handle your own CPO caseload from start to completion


• Deal with relevant legislation regarding CPO law and handle objections and inquiries on CPOs


• Assist officers with any administrative work that may be required from time to time

The Person:

• Someone who has 3+ years' PQE experience in CPO law and has ideally worked for a Local authority previously


• Someone who is organised and self-motivated and is prepared to contribute and improve upon the efficiency of the team


• Someone who is comfortable with advocacy and assisting senior solicitors
