Job Description

A Local Authority based in North-East London is looking for a temporary Accountant to join their team on an initial 3 month basis.

The postholder will provide high quality, user-focused and proactive financial support and challenge to a range of service areas in managing their finances and delivering the efficiency programme, along with accurate and timely information to support budget-setting, budget monitoring and accounts closure.

Ideal Candidate

• Fully qualified AAT or part-qualified CCAB


• Local Authority/Government finance background essential


• Experience of cost centre management across all budget work


• Good communication skills and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
