Location: Maidstone

Service Care are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) to work ADHOC shifts within a private mental health hospital in Maidstone Kent.

The service is a 65 bed, 4 wards mental health facility.

The service has 1 low secure ward, 1 PICU ward, 1 High dependency ward and a Specialist personality ward.

Job role
The role will include leading the implementation of a nursing assessment, planning and evaluation of person-centred care of both the patient's physical and mental health needs.


You will be assisting service users to improve their health and wellbeing so they can live a happier and more independent life.

The shifts are flexible as and may lead to block bookings or a Locum contract for the right candidate.

Hourly Pay

The Limited company hourly rates of pay are as follows:
Days: £26 ltd per hour uplifting rates for nights and weekends

You will be working within forensic wards in the private sector.

Aiding the recovery of patient's monitoring their wellbeing and assisting with on-going treatment.

You may be required to move/escort patients and provide personal care for some higher dependency patients.

Essential:
-Recent experience working as a Registered Nurse in the mental health sector
-Proof of Nursing Qualifications and NMC
-Must be able to engage with patients/clients
-Flexible
-NMC Pin in date

Desirable:

-Experience of working within Secure Units
