Healthcare Assistant

Service Care Construction are currently recruiting on behalf of a housing association based in Rayleigh who require a healthcare assistant to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

No previous experience is required for this role as full training will be provided.



This is a full time role working on a rota of the following shift patterns - 07:00-14:00/15:00, 14:00-22:00 and 16:00-22:00.



The role involves the following duties:

· Assist in the assessment and review of individual's care and support plans and ensure an excellent standard of service is delivered.


· To ensure records are kept up to date in line with procedures.


· To ensure performance targets, standards and objectives are met.


· To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required.


· Ensure that a high standard of customer care is provided at all times.


· Treat people with dignity and respect.


· Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.


· To ensure records are kept up to date in line with procedures.


· Ensure Care Quality Commission Standards are met and evidenced.


· To carry out any other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the post as required.
