Management Accountant – Construction

N.B - To be considered for this role at least 2 years Construction Accountancy experience to include an understanding of VAT, DRC, CIS, retentions, JCT contracts and application processes,is essential

Key Duties:

• Maintaining and monitoring overall cashflow document using project costings prepared by commercial department
• Setting and reviewing budgets
• Overview and review of accounting ledgers and balances
• Review of reports from heads of department
• Overview of accounting systems such as payroll and bookkeeping
• Various ad-hoc tasks as required, such as finance applications, tender documentation etc.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

• AAT level 4, CIMA or ACCA qualifications (or working towards one or more of these)
• Construction experience is essential – to include an understanding of VAT, DRC, CIS, retentions, JCT contracts and application processes
• A good attention to detail and ability to report
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Previous industry experience within an accountant department
• Experience of Xero or NetSuite software is preferable
• Can do attitude and willingness to adapt
