I am currently recruiting for an early years SEND advisor to work in Hillingdon.

This role is initially for three months and applying candidates are required to have an enhanced DBS.

Candidates will also need a level 3 qualification in childcare.

As an Early Years SEND Adviser, you will play an active role in supporting children with SEND aged 0-5 and their families.

You will help design and provide parent & child activity sessions and support parents/carers to better understand their child's needs and behaviours, whilst also working closely with settings, helping and training them to identify and support children who may have special educational needs or disabilities.

Alongside a Level 3 qualification in childcare, candidates will have experience of working with children with special educational needs and experience of working in partnership with parents/carers in order to meet the needs of their child.

Knowledge of child development and a thorough understanding of current SEND and equalities legislation is also essential.
