Job title: Management Accountant
Location: Billericay, CM12 - homeworking throughout contract
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: 3 months temporary
Weekly Hours: 1 day per week (Thursdays)
Management Accountant required to provide accurate internal financial management accounts.

Responsible for delivery of year end processes and deliver monthly management reporting, budgets, re-forecasts, risk & variance analysis.



Job Purpose

• To provide timely, accurate and comprehensive internal financial management accounts and support key operational managers and other internal stakeholders for all income and expenditure streams.


• Accurate and timely checking of Purchase Ledger payments runs.


• Includes manual payments, weekly BACs runs and disbursements.


• Ad hoc duties to support year-end.

Candidate Profile

• CCAB Qualified or equivalent (preferable)


• Previous employment in a senior accounting role in the housing sector or for a property services firm would be highly advantageous.


• Proven track record of working effectively in a fast paced client driven environment.


• A strong, clear working knowledge of processes and controls surrounding budgeting, forecasting and management account preparation, including detailed report writing and analysis.


• A strong, clear working knowledge management information report writing and design, including detailed variance analysis


• Preparation of process mapping and procedure documentation.
